Manage event budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and maximizing value through strategic upselling of services such as catering, upgrades, or additional entertainment options. Coordinate all aspects of event management using specialized software to oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and on-site logistics. Lead project management efforts to ensure timely delivery of all event components while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Develop effective marketing strategies for events through targeted outreach, social media promotion, and collaboration with marketing teams. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing client needs promptly, managing onsite operations smoothly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for attendees. Requirements Proven experience in event planning or management within the hospitality or entertainment industry. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable contracts and vendor agreements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software or CRM systems for client tracking. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines through excellent time management skills. Experience in managing event budgets, including forecasting costs and controlling expenses effectively. Exceptional communication skills for client interaction, team coordination, and vendor negotiations. Knowledge of catering operations, banquet services, and guest hospitality standards is highly desirable. Ability to lead teams confidently while fostering a collaborative environment focused on delivering outstanding events.
