Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our dynamic team at a leading event organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of various events, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to delivering memorable experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse environments, from outdoor festivals to indoor venues, supporting event logistics and guest engagement. Responsibilities Greet and assist guests with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at all times Manage crowd control and coordinate with team members to maintain safety and order during events Provide first aid or emergency assistance when necessary, adhering to safety protocols and CPR standards Support event setup and teardown, including manual handling of equipment and heavy lifting as required Operate POS systems for processing cash transactions and handling retail sales at event concessions or merchandise booths Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving conflicts promptly, and ensuring satisfaction Enforce safety regulations, including food safety standards, outdoor work safety measures, and venue-specific protocols Assist with public speaking duties such as guiding tours or providing event information to attendees Support children's activities or entertainment areas with patience and professionalism when applicable Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces while adhering to health and safety guidelines Requirements Prior experience in events management or working in event venues is highly desirable Demonstrated ability in conflict management and guest services within fast-paced environments Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified Experience working with children or in hospitality settings adds value to the role Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and outdoor work conditions Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems Strong communication skills suitable for public speaking and customer interactions Knowledge of safety protocols related to food service, lifeguard duties, or resort operations is advantageous Previous experience with retail sales, cash handling, or theater operations will be considered a plus If you are energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to memorable events across diverse settings, we encourage you to apply today.
