Event Assistant Entry Level
Job Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and people-oriented Event Assistant to join our team! This is an entry-level opportunity, and no previous event experience is required. We're willing to train the right person. As an Event Assistant, you'll help support the planning and execution of events, work with team members and guests, and make sure everything runs smoothly from setup to breakdown. If you're outgoing, organized, energetic, and enjoy working with people, this could be a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and grow with our team. What You'll Do Assist with event setup, preparation, and breakdown Help coordinate event materials, supplies, and equipment Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner Support event staff and coordinators throughout events Help keep event areas organized, clean, and presentable Communicate with team members to help events stay on schedule Assist with basic administrative and organizational tasks Help solve small issues quickly and professionally as they arise Represent our organization with a positive and professional attitude What We're Looking For You do not need previous event experience to apply. We're looking for someone who is: Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with people Reliable and punctual Organized and able to follow instructions A strong communicator Positive, energetic, and willing to learn Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to work independently and as part of a team Professional and customer-service oriented Previous experience in events, hospitality, customer service, retail, sales, school organizations, volunteering, or similar environments is a plus—but not required.
