Person must be able to work weekends, lift at least 50 pounds, have a flexible schedule or be able to multi task with last minute adjustments. Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, meet deadlines with little supervision, and be willing to work weekends and late nights. The Set-up Manager should have a love for special events and an eye for detail. Desired candidate must be able to follow directions, have a positive attitude and problem-solving capabilities. Must be able to climb stairs, comfortable on ladders and able to lift 50bls.
Duties include:
- Setting up event spaces (tables, chairs and lighting)
- Decorating event spaces
- Help with the upkeep of the building
Skill/Qualifications:
- Must be able to multi-task and work well under possible high stress situations
- Professional etiquette is a must
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Comfortable speaking up and sharing opinions
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
- Ability to be a team player, involved in multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff.
