Position:
Events Supervisor Overview:
This is a full-time position that oversees the execution of all Events, and acts as an Event Coordinator when needed for VIP events. The Events Supervisor is in charge of making sure that all events are thoroughly scheduled and executed to the best of the Events team's ability. This includes, but is not limited to, making sure staff is properly equipped and trained to handle their assigned events, Event Coordinators have thought through planning of assigned events, and everything has been properly communicated with the kitchen (BOH), scheduled servers/bartenders/set up crew. The Events Supervisor will work closely with the Director of Events to ensure the current market value of items needed for Events is up-to-date. They will work with the Event Coordinators to organize, plan, and carry all contracted and ticketed events, including but not limited to, weddings, graduation ceremonies, corporate parties, and TKC Special Events. They will work alongside the Special Events and Tours Specialist to ensure all Special Events are executed to plan and that we develop Special Events that are feasible to execute on our end.
Supervision:
The Events Supervisor reports to the Director of Events.
List of Duties:
Assign all Event Coordinators to incoming Contracted and Ticketed Events Create and manage all Event Server, and Event Set-Up scheduling in Sling Training of Event Coordinators. Oversee 5 Star training of Event Servers. Ensuring ALL servers are compliant to the TKC standards. Maintain relations between FOH and BOH. Making sure both areas have all necessary items for each event scheduled. Ensure cleanliness of all spaces used by events, in addition, maintaining cleanliness and scheduling routine heavier maintenance, as needed. Including but not limited to, the Ballroom, the Greenhouse, the East Terrace, and/or the Courtyard, etc. On call during events for major issues and for staff when needed Work closely with the Restaurant Manager for events' beverage needs. Ensuring all beverage needs are ordered and received prior to events. Discipline of any events employee is reported to the Director of Events in a timely manner to be handled properly. Operational success of events Including FOH execution and BOH communication and systems Oversee organization and storage of events inventory Monitor and maintain proper inventory par levels (i.e., silverware, tables, chairs, etc) and reorder when necessary. To be counted monthly. Coordination of Event Coordinators Ensure proper communication is kept between ECs and BOH in regards to upcoming private events, weddings tastings, and client meetings Assess upcoming Events schedule and evenly assign EC's to Private and Special Events coverage. Maintain and execute weekly meetings with the Special Events Manager, EC's, Chef, and Director of Events to ensure everyone is knowledgeable of upcoming events or any issues from previous events. Meet regularly with Chefs Ensure timely completion of Event BEOs Provide support for any vendors used in Events and for ECs as it relates to vendors Ensure vendors policies are up to date and enforced Ordering schedules or issues and up to date and taken care of in a timely manner Ensure cleanliness of all spaces used by events Managing set up crew and EC's in maintaining cleanliness Scheduling routine heavier maintenance, as needed Regularly attend Private Events to ensure proper event operations and execution on a monthly basis. Serve as an Event Coordinator/VIP/Large Events Take on or pay special attention to larger Private Events that require heavy client communication, in-depth planning or

$48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
