Job Description
Overview Burlington Food Hall | Burlington, NC The Burlington Food Hall is looking for an organized, energetic leader to oversee daily Food Hall operations while planning exciting events that bring our community together. As our Food Hall Operations & Events Manager , you'll coordinate operations with five restaurant concepts and a full-service bar, manage daily floor operations, manage community events, oversee our commissary kitchen, lead on-site event programming and support overall organizational readiness. This role blends creativity with leadership—helping us bring community pop-ups, large-scale weekend gatherings, and vendor-led events to life while ensuring a clean, welcoming, and well-staffed environment. You'll serve as a connector between vendors, employees, local partners to deliver memorable experiences that reflect our vibrant, food-loving community and help create one of downtown Burlington's premier gathering places.
Starting Pay:
$23/hour, bonuses available for consistent productive events of all sizes.Schedule:

Staff, schedule, and manage cleaning and floor employees to ensure smooth daily operations. Manage cleanliness and organization of the Commissary Kitchen, including tenant communication and coordination. Partner with leadership to establish and execute weekly operational objectives. Develop and manage event-specific checklists to ensure smooth logistics and successful outcomes. Collaborate with vendors, partners, and the marketing team to promote events in person and online. (Optional but welcome) Contribute to social media content creation, highlighting events and community stories. Document progress, track hours, and provide regular updates to leadership to ensure accountability. Updating social media platforms for events and other promotions. Ideal Candidate Energetic, organized, and creative with strong communication and people skills. Experience in event planning, hospitality, or operations coordination. Comfortable managing staff, facilities, and day-to-day operational needs. Skilled at balancing multiple priorities and solving problems on the fly.
