ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Donor Database & Records Maintain and update the donor management/CRM system (gift entry, contact records, donor history) Ensure accurate, timely gift acknowledgment and tax-receipt letters Track donor communication history and flag follow-up opportunities Donor Communications Draft and send appeal letters, thank-you notes, and stewardship communications Support email campaigns and donor newsletters Help maintain donor segmentation lists for targeted outreach Fundraising Events & Campaigns Coordinate logistics for fundraising events (invitations, RSVP tracking, vendor coordination, day-of support) Support annual campaign and end-of-year giving push execution Track campaign performance metrics and prepare simple progress reports Administrative Support Prepare donor briefing materials ahead of Executive Director meetings/calls Assist with basic gift reporting and reconciliation with bookkeeping/finance Research prospective donors and funding opportunities as needed Work closely with the department director to maintain and facilitate funds that are approved for the Bridge to Recovery Fund

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITIES
Required:
Strong written communication skills — comfortable drafting donor-facing letters and emails Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines independently Comfortable working with a small team
Preferred:
Experience in development, fundraising, or nonprofit administration preferred Familiarity with grant tracking or basic grant administration Experience with email marketing platforms preferred Event coordination experience

Education
  • High School Diploma Work Experience
  • 1-2 years of customer service Knowledge
  • Basic understanding of fundraising
