Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review all wedding set up notes, maps, and checklists before beginning set up
- Set up ceremony and reception to the finest detail
- Maintain cleanliness of venue throughout the event
- Patrol event guests ensuring safety protocols, keeping them from trespassing, and keeping them within alcohol boundaries
- Clear guest tables of used dinnerware (depending on assigned duty, wash dishes)
- Replenish event supplies
- Breaking down event and cleaning venue
- Enforce facility policies and procedures with a kind and understanding attitude
- Enthusiastically greet and direct guests while performing assigned tasks
- Follow all health and food safety requirements
- Identify and respond to emergencies; involve a shift Captain or Management as needed
- Proactively approach guests that may have an issue and/or complaint
- Other duties as assigned by management and shift Captain
- Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Ability to take initiative and to be a self-sufficient worker
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills
- Must be able to stay calm in stressful situations Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a variety of environments including but not limited to heights, in darkened corridors, around crowds, loud noise, flashing lights, and haze effects.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stay on one's feet for up to 8 hours Event Staff are only brought in to work on event days (35-50 events per year)
