Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their catering needs, preferences, and event objectives, ensuring clear communication throughout the planning process Develop comprehensive menus tailored to client specifications while upselling additional services or products to enhance the event experience Manage event budgets effectively, including negotiating contracts with vendors and managing costs to maximize value for clients Coordinate all aspects of catering logistics, including food preparation, presentation, staffing, and timely delivery to ensure seamless execution Utilize event management software and CRM systems to track client information, manage schedules, and streamline operations Lead and supervise catering team members to deliver exceptional guest services and maintain high standards of hospitality Oversee event marketing efforts by promoting catering services through various channels and engaging potential clients Requirements Proven experience in catering, event planning, or hospitality industry roles with a strong understanding of banquet operations and guest services Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software and CRM systems Demonstrated skills in negotiation, upselling, budgeting, and managing event contracts effectively Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members alike Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while adhering to deadlines Experience in managing event budgets and overseeing project timelines from inception to completion Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, food safety regulations, and catering best practices Leadership qualities that include team management, motivation, and conflict resolution skills Join us as a Catering Specialist and be a key contributor in delivering extraordinary events that leave lasting impressions!
