Stadium Operations General Purpose:

Venue Safety Event Staff members will work as a team within the Stadium Operations department for the Columbia Fireflies for 66 baseball games and 50 Special Events at Segra Park. Venue Safety Event Staff members are responsible for the overall safety and security of the facility prior to each event starting, during each event, and until all guests have left the stadium at the end of the night. Monitor the event - make sure rules are being followed and help provide a sense of protection for attendees and staff. Maintain order - this included directing foot traffic, helping lost people, or assisting in disturbances.

Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to work in unpleasant weather conditions (warm temperatures, rain, wind, etc.) Ability to work extended / flexible hours and weekends based on baseball & Special Events schedule
