Monday through Sunday, 10-30 hours per week (as Event Coordinator and Store Associate)Positions Supervised:

We facilitate this by providing excellent customer service, a variety of unique products, and an enjoyable environment. Each Bricks & Minifigs location is locally owned and part of a growing franchise, headquartered in Orem, UT. We are a buy, sell, trade store that encourages customers to reuse, rebuild, and reimagine with LEGO elements.Job Summary:
The Party & Event Coordinator is responsible for hosting birthday parties, summer camps, and similar events. Additionally, this role is responsible for attending to customers in a sales capacity while also carrying out a variety of shared retail activities required for daily operation (Store Associate).High Level Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and host birthday parties, parents' night out, and other similar events.
- Execute and modify summer camp and other similar class' curriculum.
- Contribute to an atmosphere that balances a casual/friendly feel with professionalism.
- Help customers of all ages learn their way around the store and develop an understanding of how the Bricks & Minifigs experience is unique.
- Make sure the environment is safe and welcoming.
- When customer service is not required, prioritize time around other essential duties in a way that demonstrates efficiency, proficiency, and ability to follow directions.
- Collaborating proactively and constructively with line management and other colleagues.
Specific Responsibilities:
50%- Supporting hosted and un-hosted in-store party events 30%
- Greeting and assisting customers in person and on the phone (requires a lot of standing) 10%
- Supporting management with creative ideas, social media, and shared customer feedback 5%
- Checking customers out on the point-of-sale system 5%
- Sharing in cleaning responsibilities (e.g. vacuuming, restroom cleaning, dusting) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Excellent oral and written English communication
- Ability to be welcoming and approachable
- Ability to work with children and parents
- Highly organized with good quantitative ability and high degree of accuracy
- Rapidly learn about a variety of goods and systems
Preferred :
Intermediate LEGO building skillsPreferred :
Knowledge of LEGO product, themes, and historyPreferred :
1+ years of experience in customer service- Act with integrity and accountability
- Understand and follow policies, processes, and ethical requirements
- Work collaboratively with others

- Physically able to lift and move heavy boxes and stand for long periods of time Compensations, Perks, & Shifts
- This position requires up to 30 hours per week with wages generally starting from $10.00 an hour (depending on experience and availability) with individual and group sales bonus potential

- The shifts run through all the days open (including specified Holidays)
