At Lisa Dupar Catering, we create events that leave a lasting impression - beautifully executed, full of flavor, and rich in hospitality. Our team produces around 1,200 events each year, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations, always upholding our reputation for excellence in food, service, and detail. We're looking for a talented Event Planner to join our team - someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, loves connecting with clients, and has a passion for bringing memorable events to life. About the Role As an Event Planner, you'll be the primary liaison between our clients and our culinary and operations teams. From the first conversation to the final toast, you'll guide clients through every step - designing menus, building proposals, managing logistics, coordinating vendors, and ensuring seamless execution on the day of the event. Upon joining, you'll participate in a comprehensive training program tailored to your background. This program provides hands-on experience with service, kitchen, operations, and front-of-house, giving you the full perspective needed to create the "complete experience" Lisa Dupar Catering is known for. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their vision is brought to life. Design creative, customized proposals, including menu selections, rentals, event timelines, and service details. Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to manage all aspects of event production. Oversee event execution, ensuring exceptional service and attention to detail from start to finish. Maintain accurate records, budgets, and timelines for each event. Represent Lisa Dupar Catering with professionalism and hospitality at all times. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in catering, hospitality, food & beverage, or event planning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Proven customer service skills with a gracious, solutions-oriented approach. Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively. Passion for food and culinary trends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Bachelor's degree preferred.
