Job Overview This role requires someone who can identify new opportunities, build strong relationships with promoters & clients, and continuously look for new events and ways to improve and elevate the guest experience. This includes meetings, conventions, weddings, and other special events. The coordinator manages event schedules and venues in collaboration with Casino departments and ensures that the needs of Convention Center patrons are met with excellence. Responsibilities Creating detailed floor plans. Even calendars and itineraries. Manage guest services to ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors. Communicate effectively with team members and guests and uphold cleanliness and organization of all convention spaces. Managing banquet and meeting room setups Linen inventory Customer Service Experience Strong background in event marketing, planning, and management with a focus on delivering successful outcomes. Demonstrated negotiation skills with experience in managing contracts effectively. Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial oversight related to events and operations. Experience in banquet services or catering is highly desirable. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
