Shift 1Job Summary:
Responsible for cultivating and managing strategic partnerships with corporate sponsors and overseeing the execution of the Foundation's special events in support of the organization's fundraising goals. This role involves identifying, building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners, securing sponsorships, and enhancing the organization's visibility within the business community. This role involves overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution, including budget management, corporate sponsorships, venue and vendor coordination, and on-site logistics.EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
A minimum of 4 years of experience in fund raising, with demonstrated success in fund raising, is required. Experience with an emphasis on corporate relationships and fundraising event execution preferred. Experience with Raiser's Edge or similar donor database software is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION
Bachelor's Degree required. Field of Philanthropic Studies, Communications, Marketing or Liberal Arts preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION
Must possess excellent written, oral, and communication skills and an in depth knowledge of current fund raising practices. software. Ability to work effectively with external business partners, donors and volunteers, and in cultivating new relationships. Strong organization and planning skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. General computer skills required such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), navigating the internet and email, and understanding basic file management (creating, saving, and organizing files).
