Responsibilities include preparing sandwiches and other menu items, taking customer orders, operating the register, serving drinks, keeping food-preparation and dining areas clean, restocking supplies, and providing excellent customer service. We're looking for someone who works well with others, pays attention to detail, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and enjoys interacting with customers. Food-service experience is helpful but not required—we're happy to train the right person. Come be part of a deli that adds a little magic to every customer's day! Duties Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications while maintaining quality standards Manage customer orders with enthusiasm, upselling additional items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, and refrigeration units Ensure food handling procedures are followed to meet health regulations and promote food safety Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurant environments is a plus but not a requirement Operate the Square POS system to accurately and efficiently process customer orders, payments, and sales transactions. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
