Job Description

SUMMARY:
Performs soft count responsibilities as assigned; to include Table Games count, slot machine cash drops, coin drop, count and verification of currency and chips.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to operate a 10-key calculator Ability to perform basic math computations Ability to follow oral and written instructions Ability to set and follow priorities Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing Ability to maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and customers
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED (required)
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Able to obtain and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Collects currency acceptors from slot machines and transports to count room Operates optical currency handling system and rapid counting of large sums of currency while ensuring the safety of funds processed Counts daily receipts from gaming operations Cleans and maintains count room and equipment Maintains confidentiality of all casino operation data Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
(•Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally) Constantly walking and standing Constant hearing, seeing and talking Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping Ability to lift 40 - 60 pounds
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment Close spaces while working with others Excessive noise and smoke Constantly = over 2/3 time Frequently = 1/3-2/3 time Occasionally = under 1/3 time
