The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for serving deli items, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your role will be vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while promoting our offerings. Responsibilities Cutting, packaging and preparation of products (cheese, meat delicacies). Customer service and advice on the range. Compliance with safety and hygiene standards. Compliance with merchandising standards and verification of expiration dates. Requirements Knowledge of food safety standards. Communicability and responsibility. Previous experience in a grocery store, deli, or food service environment preferred (but not always required) Basic food preparation and slicing skills (meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, etc.) Ability to operate deli equipment (slicers, scales, ovens, fryers, etc.) safely Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Knowledge of sanitation practices in food preparation areas is beneficial.
