Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and skilled Cable Extraction Crew Members to join our team at our Waipahu location. In this role, you will be an essential part of the cable extraction process, working hands-on with various tools and equipment to efficiently extract and process cable. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to important infrastructure projects. Candidates must be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions and demonstrate a strong work ethic and teamwork skills. Duties Operating heavy equipment. Participate in extracting telephone cable from underground and aerial. Performing traffic control; setting out cones and signs daily at each job location. Utilize forklifts for the movement of materials within the warehouse and manufacturing facility. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Attention to safety procedures and protocols Troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise, reporting any significant problems to supervisors. Dependability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward work responsibilities Qualifications Must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record. Must be at least 21 for insurance purposes. A clean background is preferred. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and forklifts is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
