Responsibilities Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Toast POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, upselling menu items, and handling cash register transactions. Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following sanitation protocols, cleaning kitchen equipment, and organizing workstations regularly. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, grills, ovens, and food preparation tools. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring food safety standards, and supporting food handling procedures. Experience Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety management practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for processing transactions accurately. Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while adhering to sanitation regulations. We are looking for candidates who already have the Food Handling Training Certificate. If you do not have it we will give you 30 days to complete the certification and reimburse the cost.
