Responsibilities Prepare and assemble deli products with precision, ensuring quality and freshness at all times Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales transactions efficiently Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling products to enhance the shopping experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area, including food handling and workspace sanitation Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing cash transactions and giving correct change Assist customers with inquiries about products, ingredients, and food safety practices to promote a positive shopping experience Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety regulations Qualifications Previous food service or quick service restaurant experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace at all times Retail sales experience or grocery store background is advantageous but not mandatory Join us if you're passionate about food industry excellence!
