Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with menu inquiries to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using Toast POS system, ensuring quick and correct processing Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments and providing change Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities through friendly recommendations and product knowledge Clear tables promptly, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a tidy dining environment Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards in the food industry Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts with strong organizational skills Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Familiarity with Toast POS is advantageous Experience in cashiering, upselling, serving, bussing, or quick service environments is highly desirable Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Some Lead experience would be helpful!
