Summary:

Knouse Foods is looking for a Service Team Member for our Peach Glen Plant! No warehouse/manufacturing experience required, but is welcomed. This position serves as a fill-in to cover absences in varying departments working as a processor, machine operator, forklift operator, etc. We provide on the job training for all of the duties in this role!

Job Duties:

Maintains proficiency to perform all Utility person jobs in more than one process area/department. Changes and cleans coder printer, sets-up codes, and checks code in coder printer. Provides help in production area for line personnel breaks. Gives breaks to all machine operators, including forklift operators and processors. Sets-up coders and supply of consumables; such as labels, lids, sleeves, glue, tape, etc. Monitors lines and replenishes supplies and dislodges jams as necessary. Makes minor machine adjustments. Replenishes safety gear in assigned area. Assists with lines changeovers. Cleans assigned work area. Collects and records use of consumables on product line and periodic inventory counts within production area. Trains new personnel in assigned area. Makes skid tags and other tags, and completes required paperwork associated with machinery. Reports any Food Quality or Food Safety issues to the Supervisor immediately.

$20.62 per hour
