Duties Operate cash registers efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy and speed using POS systems Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product demos, and guiding shoppers through store sections Stock shelves and displays with fresh produce, meats, or deli items to ensure attractive presentation and availability Assist customers in selecting products, upselling related items to enhance their shopping experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of your department area, including proper merchandising and product rotation Handle cash drawer operations responsibly, including cash handling and balancing registers at shift end Communicate effectively with team members about stock levels, product needs, and customer feedback to support store operations Qualification Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers warmly and professionally Basic math skills for cash register operations, retail math calculations, and cash handling procedures Familiarity with POS systems and retail sales transactions is advantageous Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, lifting moderate weights, and standing for extended periods.
