Manage food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times. Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning products for service. Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation protocols and organizing supplies for smooth operations. Process customer orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash register operations and retail transactions. Upsell menu items to enhance sales while providing excellent customer service during order taking and serving. Support kitchen team members in completing daily prep work and ensuring timely delivery of food items during busy hours. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred. Demonstrated culinary experience with food preparation and handling in a retail or restaurant setting. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen equipment operation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for cash handling, measuring ingredients, and managing inventory accurately.
