Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them through tasting experiences with enthusiasm and professionalism Educate visitors about the wines offered, including details about flavor profiles, production methods, and food pairings Manage point-of-sale transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Commerce 7, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell wine selections and related products by identifying guest preferences and offering tailored recommendations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Qualifications Previous experience in wine service, restaurant, or food and beverage industry preferred. Some knowledge of wines, including varietals, regions, and tasting techniques; familiarity with wine sales strategies is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests confidently and authentically Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety practices, serving protocols, and general food industry standards This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality, eager to share their wine expertise, and committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
