Job Description
Food Production Associate Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Production Associate to support the accurate and efficient preparation of ingredients for food production. This role requires a strong focus on food safety, quality, accuracy, cleanliness, and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Break down, weigh, measure, and label bulk ingredients according to recipes and SOPs. Accurately document lot numbers, weights, and labels to maintain inventory accuracy. Follow all food safety, GMP, allergen control, and HACCP procedures as applicable. Minimize waste and prevent foreign material contamination during ingredient preparation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using Clean-as-You-Go practices. Safely operate pallet jacks, production equipment, and knives as required. Complete required production and food safety documentation accurately. Meet individual production and performance goals (KPIs). Participate in required training and assist with training new team members when needed. Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic math, computer, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous food production experience is a plus, but not required. Physical & Work Environment Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Work in cold, wet, and/or humid conditions , including areas around 38°F or below. Exposure to moving equipment and moderate noise.
