Food Production Worker

Maine Crisp is an award-winning, specialty food company located in Winslow, ME, and is looking for a hardworking addition to the Maine Crisp team. The ideal candidate would be an efficient worker, able to handle repetitive tasks.

Job Description:

Responsible for: Production of crisps and crackers End-of-day clean-up Quality control Helping maintain and complete production records

Pay and Benefits:

Starting pay is $17 dollars an hour Monday through Friday Hours are 7am - 3pm Paid holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and your birthday!) Two weeks of paid vacation Health insurance plans are available. We cover 70% of employees, and 30% for partners and children.

Skills and Requirements:

Ability to regularly lift 30 pounds Excellent communication and time management skills Can work closely with other members of the team. Most stages of production require two or more people working together to complete Able to handle extremely repetitive tasks

The Product:

We make five flavors of crisps and three flavors of crackers, each with a variety of nuts, seeds, and fruit. Our daily process includes baking the loaves, slicing, baking the slices, sorting the finished product, and packaging.
