Job Description

Starting wage $25.32 Current openings: Floater that will work all 3 shifts as needed. Benefits include - Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401K Continuously monitor dryer, finisher evaporator, and WPC performance and make necessary changes to operating parameters.
Notify control room lead person/management of any irregularities in the performance of equipment.
Monitor and verify that proper changes and connections have been made for production and CIP modes of operation.
Perform computer tasks as needed.
Insure correct reporting of ingredients to the inventory management system.
Maintain all production records in an orderly fashion.
Perform hourly quality checks.
Assist in other production areas as required.
Assist in loading outgoing and unloading incoming trucks of whey concentrate as required.
Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment and quality standards.
Perform minor maintenance on equipment as required.
Minimize water usage and the generation of wastewater within the scope of the position.
Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements.
Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Two years of experience in a production area of the plant or equivalent is highly preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to use commercial English, grammar and arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division including decimals and fractions
Mechanical Abilities highly preferred
Knowledge of and ability to use various computer applications Must be able to read, write and speak English
