The Louisiana Cash Magic Truck Plaza & Casino incorporates 27 video gaming facilities situated throughout the state. Each site features a convenience store, fueling operations, a restaurant and up to 50 poker machines. The video gaming machines are in a separate gaming room that offers a casino-like atmosphere and provides the road weary traveler an exciting break from the highways. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for the management of all non-gaming profit centersComplete understanding of casino operationsAnalyze monthly profit/loss statement, vendor analysis and gaming and retail reports, and recommending action to improve the operationEstablishes work schedule in accordance with policy and labor goals, manages overtime hours of Sales Associates and maintains accurate associate timesheetsOrders merchandise on a timely basis, assuring that proper check-in procedures are followed, pricing is correct, and inventory is stocked as requiredAdheres to all city, parish, and state ATC and Video Poker regulationsKeeps up with all necessary permits and licenses for the location and maintains renewal in a timely mannerEnsures that the casino vault is counted and balanced on a daily basisConducts at least one night- time competition survey every week or more often if necessaryResponsible for controlling cash and all other inventoryFollows correct vendor check-in procedure as defined in the Operations ManualEnsures that facility is kept clean at all times with specific responsibility being assigned to maintenance personnelAssists the GM with any repair and maintenance (R&M) issues directly relating to the locationSite responsibility when GM is out of propertyMust maintain all necessary licenses specific to the overall operation
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
One year certificate from college or technical schoolBasic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbility to perform basic math and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, gross profit margins and analyze financial statementsAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organizationIdentification that establishes identityIdentification that establishes the right to work in the United States
