Job Description
Job Summary The Bounce House Attendant is responsible for supervising inflatable attractions at events to ensure safe operation, appropriate participant behavior, and a positive customer experience. This role is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy working outdoors, interacting with families, and maintaining a fun yet controlled environment. The attendant monitors the number of participants inside the unit at all times and manages timely rotation to ensure fair access and enjoyment for all guests. This position requires regular interaction with both children and adults, and attendants must remain kind, courteous, and professional while consistently enforcing all safety rules. The Bounce House Attendant must be prepared to address unsafe behavior, reckless use, or uncooperative individuals. When necessary, the attendant has the authority to pause or shut down the inflatable until rules are followed. The attendant may also deny continued access to participants who fail to comply with safety guidelines. Responsibilities Actively monitor participants using the bounce house or inflatable attraction Enforce all posted safety rules consistently and confidently Control the number of participants inside the unit at one time Prevent unsafe behaviors such as flips, roughhousing, climbing on walls/netting, or overcrowding Immediately stop activity if unsafe conditions arise Customer Interaction Greet event hosts and introduce yourself as the on-site attendant Answer basic questions about the inflatable and its operation Maintain a friendly, calm, and professional demeanor at all times Ensure the inflatable remains properly inflated and secure, checking on the blower, extension chords, and sandbags or stakes Keep entrance and exit areas clear of debris, shoes, and obstacles Requirements Be able to submit background checks and clearances legal ability to work in the US and the state of PA Ability to speak appropriately to both adults and children Must have reliable transportation to event locations Work on weekends, weekdays, nights, and
