In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude, setting the tone for their dining experience Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems, ensuring accurate scheduling and seating arrangements Welcome walk-in guests, efficiently coordinating table assignments to optimize flow and minimize wait times Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant offerings Maintain organized restaurant table management systems to track seating status and guest flow Assist with guest services by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and courteously Support food safety standards by adhering to cleanliness protocols in the host station and dining areas Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Basic math skills for managing reservations, seating counts, and guest billing when necessary Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple tables, reservations, and guest needs simultaneously Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Ability to remain energetic, friendly, and professional in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in restaurant or guest services roles is a plus Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences through exceptional guest relations!
