Overview of Position:

The Spa Receptionist serves as the welcoming guide to our guests' wellness journey. This is a key role that ensures each visit is smooth, meaningful, and memorable—from first contact to farewell. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Greeting guests warmly and genuinely; creating a welcoming, calm first impression Answer phones, respond to inquiries, book appointments, and manage daily scheduling Support guest check-ins and check-outs, including payment processing Provide informed recommendations on retail products and spa services Maintain cleanliness and ambiance of the reception area and retail displays Assist with light administrative tasks, inventory, and laundry coordination Communicate effectively with the treatment team to ensure flow and timing Help guests feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their visit

Skills & Qualifications:

A person who thrives in service environments and genuinely enjoys connecting with others Calm under pressure, flexible, and able to multitask with grace Creative, curious, and open to learning new systems and information Interested in (or experienced with) beauty, wellness, spa, or medical environments Enjoy talking about products and helping guests find what supports their well-being Brings a teachable spirit and a team-first mindset Comfortable with technology, including booking software and point-of-sale systems

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a spa, salon, wellness, retail, or medical front office setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Experience in customer service or hospitality Computer-savvy and willing to learn spa software (training provided) Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Cosmetology license, esthetics background, or product sales experience is a plus
