Job Description

OVERVIEW

The Guest Group Host welcomes and assists guests during their stay. Responsibilities include check-in, preparing lodging and meeting spaces, cleaning restrooms, hosting meals, and ensuring all details are handled. They work closely with camp staff to provide exceptional hospitality.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure readiness of all camp facilities for incoming rental groups Verify all work has been done on maintenance cleaning CheckList Meet with Food Services Manager to review menu and mealtimes Make sure radios are charged for both the guest group leader and RWG team Make sure all trashcans and wastebaskets have a liner Orient retreat staff to policies and emergency procedures and issue keys Instruct retreat staff on the use of radios Oversee table set-up Re-supply and clean beverage counter Orient whole group at first meeting to camp policies and emergency procedures Assist in serving meals Check and clean public bathroom areas Re-set meeting areas Monitor the guest schedule for any special requested items Responsible for managing the end-of-stay procedures, including securing and powering down all lodging, meeting rooms, and dining facilities Oversee trash disposal, final billing preparation, and document any issues for repair Other related duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent (required) Valid CA driver's license (required) Experience in guest hosting (1 year preferred) Experience with Microsoft programs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
