As a vital member of our hospitality team, you will manage guest arrivals, coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure smooth communication between guests and staff. Your friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks with enthusiasm will set the tone for an outstanding dining or service experience. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where your hospitality skills will shine, contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to guest satisfaction. Duties Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and provide a friendly first impression Manage waitlists and reservations . Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest flow Communicate clearly with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure guest needs are met promptly Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing accurate information about wait times or reservations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold high standards of hospitality Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating preferences to enhance overall guest relations Experience Prior experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant environments preferred Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills Familiarity with POS systems Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices Previous experience serving or working in guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role
