Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, guiding them through the reservation and seating process Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as open table or Toast POS. Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization while maintaining guest comfort Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries Assist with guest services by addressing special requests, confirming reservations, and managing waitlists Support food service operations by communicating effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting areas to uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene Skills Proven experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional phone manner Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service and guest relations Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and billing procedures Familiarity with restaurant table management systems and POS systems used in food service environments Organizational skills necessary to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests simultaneously Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Previous experience in hotel or food service industries is a plus, along with serving or hospitality background Join us as an Experience Hostess and be part of a team that values energetic engagement, exceptional guest care, and seamless operations.
