ABOUT THE ROLE

Bidzone is growing our live-commerce team in the Longwood/Orlando area. We are looking for people who can sell, entertain, communicate, and build an audience in real time. We sell collectibles through live auction and live-shopping formats, including sports cards, memorabilia, trading cards, sealed products, and other collectibles. Our shows are fast-paced and interactive, and the host plays a major role in creating energy, explaining value, engaging buyers, and driving sales. This is a sales and presentation role first. You do not need to be an expert in every collectible category on day one. We can teach products, platforms, show formats, and our systems. We are primarily looking for people with strong sales instincts, confidence, communication skills, and the ability to keep an audience engaged.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Host live auctions, card breaks, product drops, and other live-selling shows on platforms such as Whatnot and potentially TikTok Live. Engage viewers, answer questions, recognize repeat buyers, keep conversation moving, and turn passive viewers into active participants. Explain products, formats, rules, odds, promotions, and what buyers are purchasing in a clear and accurate way. Present collectibles in a way that makes their value, scarcity, story, and appeal easy to understand. Read the room and adjust your presentation based on bidding, audience participation, available inventory, and what buyers are responding to. Manage multiple things at once, including hosting, chat, auctions, product information, pacing, and show accuracy. Prepare with the operations team before shows and complete required post-show organization and fulfillment handoff. Review performance with management and continuously improve sales, presentation, pacing, and audience engagement.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Sales experience is the biggest priority. Strong candidates may come from commission sales, retail, hospitality, automotive, real estate, phone sales, entertainment, or any role where success depended on connecting with customers and closing business. We are especially interested in people who have some combination of: Strong communication, presentation, public-speaking, content-creation, or on-camera experience. The ability to speak naturally and confidently for extended periods without sounding scripted. Competitive drive, reliability, coachability, and comfort being measured on performance. Experience buying, selling, trading, grading, breaking, or collecting sports cards, trading cards, memorabilia, or other collectibles. Strong sports knowledge, including players, teams, rookies, prospects, and the stories that make sports collectibles interesting. An understanding of odds, probability, pricing, expected value, and risk/reward. Experience or serious interest in sports betting, fantasy sports, poker, or similar analytical environments is a plus. Quick mental math and the ability to make good decisions while several things are happening at once.

COLLECTIBLES & LIVE-SELLING EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of sports cards and memorabilia is especially valuable. Experience with Pokémon,

One Piece, Dragon Ball, Disney Lorcana, Magic:

The Gathering, graded cards, sealed products, or other TCG and hobby categories is also helpful. Previous Whatnot, TikTok Shop, TikTok Live, eBay Live, Twitch, or other livestream-selling experience is a major plus. Experience running or participating in sports-card or TCG breaks is also highly valuable. You do not need to know every category. We would rather hire a strong salesperson and presenter who can learn the products than a product expert who cannot engage and sell to a live audience.

COMPENSATION & TRAINING

This is a performance-driven position with a guaranteed base plus upside. We provide paid training covering our platforms, show formats, collectibles, sales techniques, on-camera presentation, audience engagement, compliance, operations, and post-show procedures.

Compensation includes:

Guaranteed hourly/base compensation. Commission based on live-show performance. Additional performance bonuses and advancement opportunities for strong hosts. Opportunity to grow into lead-host, training, show-development, or management responsibilities as the operation expands. This is a full-time, in-person position in the Orlando area. Some evening and weekend availability will be required.
