Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's name Use visual cues to seat Guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference Inform Guest of current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service Manage the flow of Guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming Guests if appropriate Tend to special Guest needs and requests. Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; when needed Contribute to team effort by accomplishing side work as neededRequirements:

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant or hotel
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or rooms
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
- Take reservations and manage the waitlist
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Previous experience in guest relations or guest services is preferredWe offer competitive pay and opportunities for growth within our organization.
