Overview We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Host for VR (Virtual Reality) Games to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our VR entertainment venue, ensuring guests have an unforgettable experience from the moment they arrive. Your lively personality and attention to safety will help create a fun, safe, and memorable environment for all visitors, including children and adults alike. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them through the check-in process for VR gaming sessions Manage guest flow, reservations, and walk-in inquiries with enthusiasm and professionalism Provide clear instructions on VR equipment usage and safety protocols to ensure a smooth experience Monitor gameplay to maintain a safe environment, addressing any conflicts or issues promptly and effectively Assist with setting up and packing away VR equipment, including manual handling of heavy gear when necessary Process cash transactions, handle POS (Point of Sale) systems, and manage guest payments accurately Enforce safety protocols diligently, including emergency procedures such as CPR or first aid if needed Requirements Experience in events management or hospitality environments preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests confidently Proven conflict management skills to handle guest concerns professionally Knowledge of safety procedures including CPR, first aid, and lifeguard experience is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of equipment safely Experience working with children or in outdoor work settings is advantageous Familiarity with retail sales, cash handling, processing transactions through POS systems, and basic math skills Excellent public speaking skills to communicate instructions clearly and confidently Prior experience in event venues, resort settings, theater production, or food service is beneficial Join us as a Host for VR Games and be part of an exciting environment where your energy makes every guest's experience extraordinary!
