Job Description
Pay range is $10
- 12 per hour plus tips
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables and provide them with menus
- Assist in seating guests according to seating charts and restaurant policies
- Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information to callers
- Manage waitlists and notify guests when their table is ready
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
Experience:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with hotel or restaurant guest services is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with guests from diverse backgrounds
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a bonus
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional service
