As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by coordinating reservations, managing waitlists, and providing friendly, professional customer service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression of the restaurant Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times clearly to guests Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, practicing excellent phone etiquette to handle inquiries and reservations Assist guests with seating, ensuring smooth flow of service during busy hours Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness in the host station area Requirements Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Experience with restaurant reservation management and guest relations is a plus Basic math skills for handling reservations, wait times, and guest counts accurately Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest needs simultaneously Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Ability to handle phone communication confidently, demonstrating proper phone etiquette Experience with POS systems used in food service environments is advantageous Join our team where your vibrant personality and dedication will help us deliver outstanding hospitality experiences!
