• Job Summary:

• We are seeking a friendly and attentive Host/Host to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for ensuring their experience is exceptional from the moment they step into our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering top-notch customer service and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, making them feel valued and important.
• Manage reservations, take orders, and handle table assignments.
• Provide guests with menus, answer questions, and make recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards.
• Handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that orders are accurate and that food is served promptly.
• Use a POS system to manage orders and provide detailed descriptions of dishes.
• Provide exceptional guest services, including assisting with special requests and handling phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure a seamless service experience.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of hotel and restaurant operations and be knowledgeable about our menu offerings.

• Skills:

• Experience in the food service industry, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
• Proficiency in using a POS system.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to provide helpful and attentive guest services.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and hotel operations.
• Familiarity with hotel and restaurant hospitality standards.
• Effective phone etiquette skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and provide support to other staff members when needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
