Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Host/Hostess to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests from the moment they arrive. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth seating, reservation management, and guest relations. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times Answer phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and general questions Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Support food service staff by managing guest flow and ensuring timely seating Uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness in the host station area Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant or hospitality environment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and guest management Knowledge of restaurant table management systems and POS systems is highly desirable Experience in food service or hospitality enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest relations Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with phone communication etiquette and guest services standards Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
