Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Manage the seating chart and ensure that tables are filled in an efficient manner. Take reservations and maintain an organized reservation system. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with a focus on guest satisfaction. Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests. Skills Previous Host/Host experience is preferred, along with a background in food service or hospitality. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in restaurant settings or hotels is a plus. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong phone etiquette skills for handling reservations and guest inquiries.
