Lake Lure Host:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Front Desk. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience. This position is suitable for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a desire to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This job is perfect for individuals who can easily navigate on a computer, has great social skills, and thrives in multifaceted situations.Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Assist in managing reservations and answering phones.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions
- Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and kitchen staff
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with Open Table a plus
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and ability to handle phone reservations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Schedule:
We are currently looking for someone who has evening flexibility. Weekend and Holiday availably is a must. The Lodge on Lake Lure is a smoke free and drug free property.Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Pay:
$18.00- $23.
