Lake Lure Host:

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Front Desk. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience. This position is suitable for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a desire to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This job is perfect for individuals who can easily navigate on a computer, has great social skills, and thrives in multifaceted situations.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
• Seat guests and provide them with menus
• Assist in managing reservations and answering phones.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions
• Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and kitchen staff
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
• Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with Open Table a plus
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of phone etiquette and ability to handle phone reservations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Schedule:

We are currently looking for someone who has evening flexibility. Weekend and Holiday availably is a must. The Lodge on Lake Lure is a smoke free and drug free property.
