Join our warm and inviting diner as a Hostess, embodying the epitome of casual charm. We are seeking an affable and engaging individual who thrives in a sociable environment. The ideal candidate takes pleasure in engaging customers and values the personal touch, remembering our patrons by name. Flexibility is key as you'll be expected to assist in various capacities, including filling in as a busser during busy shifts and supporting back-of-house operations.

Responsibilities:

Warmly greet customers upon their arrival Handle phone inquiries and take orders for take-out in a professional manner Provide accurate wait time estimates to patrons during peak hours Enter orders into our Point of Sale System and efficiently handle guest payments Maintain a tidy and organized front-of-house ambiance Seat guests and promptly take initial drink orders to ensure efficient service Assist with opening/closing duties and perform necessary side work Familiarize yourself with the food and beverage menu Efficiently rotate seating to balance workloads for waitstaff Support servers in busing and resetting tables Perform front-of-house detailing as required

Skills and Requirements:

High school diploma/GED preferred Flexible availability, especially for weekends and evenings 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in hospitality Ability to stand for 6+ hours during a shift Strong time management skills Friendly and approachable demeanor Team player mindset, always ready to assist fellow team members

Work Schedule:

Flexible, with a minimum of 4-5 shifts, each lasting 5-8 hours

Hourly Rate:

Commensurate with experience
