Overview Join our dynamic team as a Hostess Cashier, where you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for every guest. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional guest services Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Handle guest inquiries via phone with proper phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations Operate POS systems to process payments accurately and efficiently at checkout Maintain organized front-of-house operations, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for incoming guests Support food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene and sanitation protocols Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously Experience Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong communication skills, including phone communication and customer service expertise, are essential Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tables and reservations simultaneously Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers accurately Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality principles to enhance guest experiences Previous experience with restaurant table management systems and guest relations roles will be advantageous Join us to deliver exceptional guest experiences through energetic service, organized operations, and a passion for hospitality!
