In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and assist with seating arrangements while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Toast tables or Micros POS. (Training provided) Maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations. Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills. Uphold cleanliness and organization in the host/host area, contributing to a positive dining environment. Experience Previous experience as a Host/Host or in a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems (Toast Tables or Micros POS) is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Experience in hospitality or guest relations is advantageous but not mandatory.
