Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive. In this vital role, you will manage restaurant reservations, greet guests with enthusiasm, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently. Your friendly demeanor and organizational skills will ensure smooth flow during busy hours, setting the tone for exceptional guest service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest relations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in guest seating to optimize table turnover Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service flow Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and inquiries Maintain accurate records of reservations, waitlists, and guest preferences using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Assist in organizing the dining area to uphold cleanliness, safety standards, and efficient table management Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred Strong background in food service or hospitality roles demonstrating excellent customer service skills Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Proven organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods Basic math skills for handling reservations, billing, and POS transactions Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and guest relations expertise Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus Join us to create welcoming atmospheres where every guest feels valued!
