Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them to their tables or seating areas. Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems to optimize seating flow and reduce wait times. Maintain organized restaurant table management systems to ensure smooth seating arrangements and timely turnover. Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, or menu details. Process customer payments accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling and receipt issuance. Support food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols during guest interactions and transaction processes. Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless guest services, enhance guest relations, and resolve any concerns promptly. Skills Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant or food service environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests courteously over the phone and in person. Basic math skills for handling cash, making change, and processing payments efficiently.
