In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort and system efficiency. Your hands-on skills and technical knowledge will be vital in delivering reliable solutions that keep systems running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems, including refrigeration, boilers, air conditioning units, electrical systems, and building automation systems using schematics and technical manuals Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, motors, electrical wiring, and control systems using hand tools and electrical diagnostic tools like ohmmeters Install new HVAC systems and mechanical equipment in commercial or residential settings following industry standards and safety protocols Conduct electrical diagnostics and mechanical systems repair to resolve complex issues promptly Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports, repair logs, and system performance documentation Provide excellent customer service by explaining system issues clearly and recommending appropriate solutions Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in HVAC system repair and maintenance Construction experience is preferred to understand building layouts and installation requirements Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration cycles, and mechanical systems repair Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively using hand tools and diagnostic instruments such as ohmmeters Familiarity with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) systems including boilers and building automation systems Mechanical knowledge of HVAC system installation procedures and maintenance practices Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in electrical or plumbing work are advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Ability to work independently or as part of a field service team in diverse environments Join us if you're passionate about delivering high-quality HVAC solutions!
